The Georgia Bulldogs have been one of the top teams this season in college football, currently ranking fifth in the latest AP Poll. However, they received devastating news about one of their top players heading into the final stretch of the regular season. Let’s take a deeper dive into what has been reported and what it means for Georgia going forward.

Georgia Bulldogs Lose Jordan Hall for Remainder of Season

CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz is reporting that Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman Jordan Hall is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025 season after suffering a knee injury last week against the Florida Gators. While the extent of the knee injury is unclear, coach Kirby Smart did discuss the injury on Monday.

“Jordan will be out for some time. Not sure how long, but he’ll be out for some time. Jordan is a tough one because that kid’s been through a lot injury-wise. He fought to get back last year towards the end of the year, and he wasn’t even 100 percent healthy then. Then, he had a good offseason and was really leading and competing and playing well for us. Just a tough injury for him to sustain.”

Hall has been starting over the first eight games of the year for the Georgia Bulldogs and has been a strong force on the defensive line. He recorded 12 total tackles, including two tackles for loss, this season. Hall dealt with leg injuries last season that limited him to six games.

It will be interesting to see if the Bulldogs can survive losing their five-star nose tackle as the program looks to get into the SEC Championship Game, but would need help in doing so despite being 7-1 (5-1 SEC) so far this year.
