Georgia Dealt Bad News on Playmaker Via the Transfer Portal

On3's Hayes Fawcett reported Georgia Bulldogs running back Branson Robinson entered the transfer portal Wednesday. The Bulldogs then received more bad transfer portal news this week.

Fawcett reported Thursday that Georgia wide receiver Nitro Tuggle also plans to enter the transfer portal. Tuggle has three years of eligibility remaining.

The wideout has apparently been wavering between staying at Georgia and entering the transfer portal for several months. Dawg Nation's Connor Riley wrote Thursday that Tuggle announced in December he was entering the portal before he then decided to stay with the Bulldogs.

While appearing in eight games last season, Tuggle posted three catches for 34 yards.

Tuggle confirmed his new plans to enter the portal on Instagram.

The receiver was a four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. Tuggle was also a top 20 receiver and the No. 102 prospect overall in his class.

The Bulldogs have now lost a receiver and running back in the transfer portal this week. Georgia is expected to add at least one edge rusher in the transfer portal, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Bulldogs also addressed skill positions on offense.

Before entering the portal, Tuggle was facing an indefinite team suspension. Tuggle was arrested in March on reckless driving and speeding, both of which were considered misdemeanors.
