Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs may not have gotten their way with their schedule in 2024 but 2025 looks very promising.
The Dawgs' 2025 schedule, including opponents and dates, officially dropped this week and it features seven home games at Sanford Stadium with four of them coming against SEC opponents Alabama, Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Texas.
This gives Georgia a much-needed and deserved home-field advantage after having to play those teams on the road this past season.

It doesn't mean Georgia's 2025 schedule is any easier, though.
They'll kick off the season against Marshall and Austin Peay at home between the hedges before starting conference play on the road at Tennessee. Then it's a long seven-game stretch against SEC foes.
Georgia does have two bye weeks to break those tough games up. Their first bye is in Week 4 on Sept. 20 after they play the Volunteers and before they host the Crimson Tide. The next bye is Week 9 Oct. 25 after taking on Ole Miss at home and before their mutual road game against Florida.
For Georgia's season finale, they will play Georgia Tech, per usual, but this time it's at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. That's a lot better than playing at Bobby Dodd considering the Benz is known as the Bulldogs' home away from home.
