If you were hoping to see Kirby Smart on the sideline in EA's latest College Football 26 video game, I have good news.
On Wednesday, the Georgia head coach made a post on X announcing his inclusion in the latest release of EA's college football video game franchise. In a four-second clip, Smart can be seen sitting on a stool staring at the camera before giving the infamous EA tagline with a finger point, "EA Sports... it's in the game."
The short clip is accompanied by a photo of what seems to be behind the scenes of the photoshoot for the game's deluxe edition cover, which features Smart and other college football figures.
Smart is among seven head coaches to grace the deluxe edition's cover. The others are Dan Lanning, Ryan Day, James Franklin, Kenny Dillingham, Marcus Freeman and Lane Kiffin.

No coaches were in last year's game. Their likeness was resembled through playbooks and tendencies instead of physical features.
This involvement marks the first time a Georgia player or coach has been on the cover of a college football video game and, actually, the first time any coach has been on the cover of any college football video game since the Bill Walsh College Football franchise in the early 1990s, which featured the legendary Stanford head coach.
College Football 26 and Smart's digital doppelganger is set to release on July 10.
