Georgia's major recruiting weekend features one of the nation's top wide receivers that ranks as the best player out of Alabama.
Cederian Morgan (6-foot-4, 210 pounds) plays for Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama. He ranks as the No. 2 player at the position, the top player in the state and the No. 11 overall recruit in the 2026 class (247Sports).
In-state SEC rivals Alabama and Auburn have made the biggest impressions on Morgan to date. Both programs have hosted the five-star wideout multiple times and are scheduled for official visits this summer.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide are currently the favorite to land Morgan over the Tigers, according to On3's Steve Wiltfong and Cole Pinkston.
But don't count out Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart, who haven't finished with a recruiting class outside of the top 10 for nine consecutive years.
The Bulldogs have put a lot of stock in reviving the wide receiver room after leading the FBS in drops last season.
Second-year position coach James Coley helped sign five-star wideout Talyn Taylor and four-stars CJ Wiley and Landon Roldan in the 2025 cycle. UGA's 2026 class already features three receivers, including four-stars Vance Spafford, Ryan Mosley and Brady Marchese.
Morgan, who will announce his commitment on July 2, is currently on his official visit to Georgia after previously visiting the Bulldogs on May 16.

Colorado received an official visit from Morgan on May 9. He has more official trips scheduled to Florida (June 6), Auburn (June 13) and Alabama (June 20).
Smart and Co. will need to make a standout impression on Morgan to stay in the race with schools like Alabama and Auburn holding the in-state edge.
