Minnesota Golden Gophers quarterback Tanner Morgan was featured on ESPN's College Gameday in a feature titled "Weathering the Storm."
The feature focuses on Tanner's father, Ted Morgan, who was diagnosed with brain cancer in May 2020. Morgan fought the disease until his death in 14 months later and the common theme of rain throughout Morgan's grieving process is highlighted in the piece that follows the Gophers' QB through the 2021 season and his wedding last summer.
Morgan, who is in his sixth season at Minnesota, is interviewed along with his mother Pat and Gophers head coach P.J. Fleck for the feature.
The Gophers will take on Nebraska on Saturday afternoon.
