Gophers transfer portal tracker: List of players committed to Minnesota

The Gophers football team scored more recruits Sunday than the Vikings scored points. Four transfers committed to P.J. Fleck's Gophers on Sunday, bringing the total to five since the opening of the transfer portal.

Former New Hampshire quarterback Max Brosmer was the first to commit early last week, giving Minnesota a new starting quarterback after the departure of Athan Kaliakmanis.

The full list of inbound transfers are below...

Max Brosmer - QB (New Hampshire)

  • FCS passing leader in 2023 with 3,459 passing yards with 29 touchdowns

Trent Howland - RB (Indiana)

  • 6-foot-3, 240-pound running back was Indiana's leading rusher in 2023 with 354 yards and two touchdowns

Jordan Geurad - DL (FIU)

  • First team All-Conference USA in 2023. Registered 84 tackles and 5 sacks in three years at FIU

Ethan Robinson - CB (Bucknell)

  • All-Patriot League First Team in 2023. Had offers from USC, West Virginia and Auburn, among others.

Eddy Toussom - EDGE (Navarro College in Texas)

  • Eight sacks in 2023 for Navarro College (Texas). Had 18 other offers including from Jerry Kill's New Mexico State.

The Gophers aren't done yet. Fleck's staff extended scholarship offers to a number of players over the weekend, including another quarterback and a pair of talented wide receiver from Wake Forest and Oklahoma State, respectively.
