Let's have a fun Friday on "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCental" as we go around the world of Alabama athletics with Jalen Prince. Prince is the host of "Two Dudes with Sports News" and covered Alabama and high school sports with Tide 100.9 and WVUA23.

We begin the conversation with the AHSAA State Championships as Bryant-Denny Stadium has played host to the finals all week long. The event ends with Saraland vs. Clay Chalkville in the 6A finals, a game featuring three Alabama football commits. Prince discusses the finals that have already been played and we talk about recruits that are flirting with both Alabama and Auburn this fall.

Next we talk transfer portal as the Crimson Tide has seen four players enter the portal this week in various capacities. We discuss who the Alabama program needs to hold onto throughout the offseason as the portal can take just as well as it can give.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe wasn't named a Heisman Trophy finalist and the program discusses that, with the context that the winner will be announced this Saturday. Both pundits declare who they would have voted for but Gaither thinks a west coast quarterback will win.

We continue by getting Prince's perspective on the College Football Playoff and who was selected on Sunday. Prince breaks out a wrestling analogy to compare the Crimson Tide to some of the great heels in professional wrestling.

The program wraps up with a look at Alabama basketball as the Tide plays Purdue in Toronto on Saturday. Is there any way the Tide can defeat the nation's No. 4 overall team?

Keep up with each show on Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. Shows can also be heard on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon.
