There’s a new favorite for the Heisman Trophy. Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter now has the shortest odds to bring home college football’s highest honor, according to FanDuel, moving past Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel.

Hunter is now +200 to win the Heisman, which is a big shift from +270 on Tuesday. Gabriel, meanwhile, now has the second-best odds at +250 after coming in at +230. Miami quarterback Cam Ward and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty round out the top four at +300 and +450, respectively, per FanDuel.

Hunter is one of the most electrifying players in college football this year, playing nearly every snap for Colorado on both offense and defense. He also made Big 12 history this week as the first player to ever win the conference’s Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards.

Entering Week 10, Hunter has 757 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on offense to go with 21 tackles and an interception on defense. He’s also coming off a monster day against Cincinnati a week ago, hauling in nine receptions for 156 yards and two touchdowns while adding two tackles and a season-high four passes defended.

As for Gabriel, he continues to settle in well to Oregon’s scheme after transferring in from Oklahoma this year. He’s been the most efficient quarterback in the Big Ten, completing 76.2% of his passes for 2,371 yards and 18 touchdowns – leading the conference in all three categories.

Gabriel had a strong showing last week against Illinois as Oregon cruised to the victory at Autzen Stadium. He threw for 291 yards and three touchdowns, and also added a rushing touchdown to the effort.

The Heisman Trophy race continues to heat up with the first weekend of November approaching, and the odds are sure to keep shifting, as well. It’s all part of the lead-up to the ceremony in New York on Dec. 14 where the four finalists will find out if they bring home the top honor in college football.
