Heisman Trophy winner and former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel has revealed he plans to be in Tuscaloosa to watch Diego Pavia and Vanderbilt take on Alabama.
“They hungry and guess what,” Manziel said on the “Night Cap” Podcast on Saturday. “I’m going to Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday and I’m on the Vandy sideline. I am wearing a Pavia jersey. Bring it on is what them boys are saying.”
Vanderbilt is undefeated and is ranked as the No. 16 team in the country ahead of this highly anticipated matchup. The Crimson Tide are ranked No. 10 at the moment after defeating the Georgia Bulldogs.
The Commodores shocked the college football world last year when they defeated then No. 1 Alabama in Nashville in one of the biggest upsets of the 2024 football season.
Vanderbilt’s win last season and its success so far in 2025 have this matchup garnering a lot of attention.
