How Did The 2025 Heisman Trophy Voting Look?

It was announced that Fernando Mendoza won the 2025 Heisman Trophy Award for his incredible season, leading the Indiana Hoosiers to the Big Ten Championship as well as an undefeated season to be the top seed in the College Football Playoff. The 2025 Heisman Trophy voters saw Mendoza completely take control late in the season when he was able to throw a last-minute touchdown against the Penn State Nittany Lions. Diego Pavia was able to make it a bit of a race with his dominant five-touchdown performance against the Kentucky Wildcats. However, the voters seemingly got it right as Mendoza was able to lead the Hoosiers to an undefeated record and was the favorite to win the award. He becomes the first Indiana player to ever win the award.
