One thing recent University of Washington football coaches have learned is you just can't go wrong with Las Vegas-produced players.

In that wagering town, they're just not a gamble; the percentages are always with you.

On Sunday, the Huskies added another one in wide receiver Audric Harris, who asked out of his Arizona scholarship to join Jedd Fisch's staff in Montlake — the seventh player to follow the coach north from Tucson.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Harris hails from Bishop Gorman High School in Sin City.

That's the same place that sent first-team All-America pass-catcher Rome Odunze and first-team All-Pac-12 linebacker Edefuan Ulofoshio to the UW.

That's the same metro area that supplied the Huskies with first-team All-Pac-12 offensive lineman Troy Fautanu and the UW-to Michigan State-to-UW-to Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard from suburban Henderson.

A 3-star recruit, Harris brings heady credentials, coming off a senior season in which he caught 51 passes for 1,051 yards and 13 touchdowns for a 12-0 team.

After signing in December, he's asked for his Arizona scholarship release and expects to be an early enrollee at the UW.

He previously committed to Fisch and Arizona over offers from Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Pittsburgh, Utah, BYU, California, Hawaii and Washington State.

Harris will help complement a UW receiving corps hit hard by players heading to the NFL draft, among them Ja'Lynn Polk, Jalen McMillan and Odunze, plus Bernard's transfer to Alabama.

He's one of two receivers expected to sign with the Huskies next week, joined by University of California transfer Jeremiah Hunter, and he'll be one of four new Husky receivers, following December signees Jason Robinson and Justice Williams, both from Southern California high schools.
