Indiana football linebacker Aaron Casey has been invited to participate in the 2024 NFL Draft Combine later this month.

Casey was one of the few bright spots of a disappointing season for Indiana football. He was named a Phil Steele 2nd Team All-American and a member of the Big Ten first team after an impressive season.

In 2023 Casey finished the regular season second nationally in tackles for loss with 20.0, he also made 78 solo tackles which also led the Big Ten.

He finished 109 total tackles which was fourth in the conference as he became the first player to make 100 tackles in a season by an Indiana football player since Tegray Scales (126) did it in 2016.

Casey was the only Hoosier to be invited to the combine.

Casey will look to join former Indiana football linebackers Micah McFadden and Cam Jones in the NFL. McFadden was drafted by the New York Giants in the fifth round of the 2022 draft while Jones signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent.

Now at the combine, Casey will get the chance to improve his draft stock.
