GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Gators anticipate the return of two starting defensive linemen from injury for Florida's Week 11 matchup at No. 19 LSU, as nose tackle Cam Jackson and edge rusher Tyreak Sapp were removed from the team's weekly injury report on Wednesday.

Find UF's injury report for Week 11 below.

  • LB Shemar James (lower body) — out
  • WR Caleb Douglas (lower body) — out
  • EDGE Jack Pyburn (lower body) — out
  • TE Jonathan Odom (upper body) — out

Jackson and Sapp each missed UF's Week 10 bout with Arkansas due to upper body injuries. Each player was considered questionable for that game.

The duo of Jackson and Sapp has combined for 42 total tackles this season, with Sapp adding two sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and a pass breakup.

Pyburn, who started in place of Sapp against Arkansas in Week 10, tore his ACL during the contest and will miss the rest of the 2023 campaign. He finished the season with 13 tackles, including one for loss.

James, who is still the Gators' leading tackler on the season with 55, dislocated his kneecap against Georgia in Week 9 and will miss to remainder of the season following surgery to mend the hurt. Freshman Jaden Robinson started in James' place at linebacker against the Razorbacks.

Douglas remains out with a lower-body injury, although Napier suggested on Nov. 1 that Douglas is "ahead of schedule" in his recovery from the injury. In five appearances this season, Douglas totaled 11 receptions for 133 yards and a touchdown.

Odom continues to nurse an upper-body injury that has sidelined him since Week 6 and will not play against the Tigers.
