'It’s Kind Of Been Good Luck For Me': Jaxson Dart Bares Why He Wears Sister’s Diamond Necklace

Jaxson Dart , newly drafted quarterback for the New York Giants, recently opened up about the actual reason as to why he wears a diamond necklace during his games. Apparently, the diamond necklace belongs to his younger sister. Dart picked up the necklace before one of his bowl games and liked it. Dart calls the necklace lucky and that it has brought plenty of good fortune to the quarterback.

Dart was selected by the New York Giants as the 25th pick in the very first round of the NFL draft. Before the NFL, the 21-year-old quarterback split his college football for the USC Trojans and the Ole Miss Rebels. In his senior year as quarterback for the Ole Miss Rebels, Dart managed to throw for a total of 4,279 yards, scoring 29 touchdowns, while managing six interceptions for the team.

“So, my little sister had it, it was hers. It was before our bowl game, and as I was leaving the house over Christmas, a little break before the bowl game, and just saw it in her room. And I was like, you know what, I kind of like it. So, I put it on and it’s kind of been good luck for me ever since.” Jaxson Dart said about his lucky necklace in a recent press conference.

With Jaxson Dart on their side, the New York Giants will be eager to improve their record in the upcoming NFL season. In the 2024 NFL season, the Giants tanked badly and won only three games, while losing 14. The Giants played their very last game of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles, losing 20-13. The Eagles eventually went on to win the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jaxson Dart Stuns At New York Giants Rookie Camp

Jaxson Dart was a beauty to watch at the New York Giants recent rookie camp. A video was shared by CBS Sports which showed Dart throwing an elegant loss pass which delighted many Giants fans. The comments section was on fire with many fans going on to praise Dart for the throw and also the Giants for bringing him to their roster.

One particular fan compared Jaxson Dart’s throw with that of Daniel Jones, mentioning that the latter’s pass was “wobbly” while the former’s pass is “nice and stable”. One more fan remarked that Dart actually threw against the wind, but managed to do it very successfully.
