Michigan State star Jacoby Windmon has signed an NIL deal with Lansing’s Feldman Chevrolet and debuted a new commercial.

A few years ago, the NCAA passed a rule, allowing players to benefit from their name, image, and likeness. It was a monumental decision by the amateur athletics giant and it allowed college kids to make some extra spending money.

We’ve seen Spartan players benefit from this in big ways and Jacoby Windmon shared his new NIL deal on Twitter (or X).

On Wednesday, the senior linebacker transfer from UNLV posted a commercial that he was featured in as the spokesperson for Feldman Chevrolet in Lansing. Fans loved the commercial and you have to think Feldman Chevrolet’s stock is on the rise in the area after featuring one of the best players on the team thanks to an NIL deal.

I mean, he’s just an absolute natural in front of the camera. Feldman Chevrolet made a great choice with Windmon because he’s a fan favorite in East Lansing and this commercial might just attract more Spartan fans.

You love to see these guys get paid with cool NIL deals.

Windmon isn’t the first to earn a public NIL deal on the team and he won’t be the last but it’s cool to see these guys being featured in commercials. Spartan fans now have a new favorite Chevy dealer.

Hopefully we see more Michigan State players earning prominent NIL deals because that’s only going to help recruiting. Plus, that connects MSU with the community. Seeing Windmon featured in a Lansing-area commercial is great for his brand as well as MSU’s and Feldman is only going to benefit here.

Last year, we saw Payton Thorne partner with Hopcat to create his own signature burger and he also had a deal with Jayden Reed in 2021 to promote the United Dairy Industry of Michigan.

Who will we see inking a big NIL deal next?
