Jim Harbaugh is getting a Michigan tattoo thanks to bet with players

At least for now, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh is on top of the college football world.

His Wolverines were a perfect 15-0 en route to the program's first championship since 1997. It wasn't easy either, and unlike in years past — there was little doubt that the Wolverines were the top team in college football.

The Wolverines took a path that saw them beat No. 10 Penn State, No. 2 Ohio State, No. 16 Iowa, No. 4 Alabama and No. 2 Washington. So much for that easy early-season schedule, right?

It was a magical season for Michigan and for now, the questions regarding the Connor Stalions cheating scandal and potential future NCAA actions against Harbaugh or Michigan will fade away amongst the confetti. That's not to mention Harbaugh's potential future as an NFL head coach.

There's a lot of uncertainty for Michigan in the future, but what's certain in the here and now is that Harbaugh is more than content to celebrate this championship. And for him, that means holding up his end of a bargain he made with his players.

"I said I would get a tattoo. I have no ink on my body. No tattoos anywhere, but I did say that to our players. I said if we go 15-0, I'm getting a tattoo, it's 15-0. I'm going to put it on my shoulder," Harbaugh said after the game. "I don't know if it's my left or right yet. I'm a right-handed quarterback, I'll probably get it on my right. And then an M, too, an M that's maize & blue M. Also that signifies a thousand in Roman numerals"
