The Michigan Wolverines beat the Washington Huskies 34-13 in the National Championship Game at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on Monday, and the victory left Jim Harbaugh quoting his quarterback.

Harbaugh was interviewed by ESPN’s Holly Rowe after the win. The Michigan coach said winning the title was a “glorious feeling.”

Harbaugh then said, “To quote J.J. McCarthy, bet.”

“Bet” was the rallying cry Michigan players utilized amid the negative attention they received for the sign-stealing scandal. Michigan players all said the word on social media and during interviews when Harbaugh was suspended during the regular season.

Harbaugh even admitted in early December that he had to look up what the word meant.

“Bet” is a slang term meaning you are enthusiastically in agreement with something.

For Harbaugh, you can bet that winning the national championship is a glorious feeling.
