Jimbo Fisher is making his next move off the field and into the studio.
The former Florida State and Texas A&M head coach has officially signed on with the ACC Network as a studio analyst for its flagship show, ACC Huddle, the network confirmed today.
Fisher’s broadcasting role places him alongside hosts Taylor Tannenbaum, Eddie Royal, and Eric Mac Lain. The show will shift this season to travel to marquee ACC matchups each Saturday, starting in Week 1 with the LSU-Clemson showdown.
“I’m looking forward to joining ACC Network and the Huddle team this season,” Fisher said in a statement. “I’ve always had tremendous respect for this conference, and I’m looking forward to breaking down the action each week with such a talented group.”
Fisher’s coaching legacy is well known in the ACC. He launched his head coaching career at Florida State from 2010 to 2017, guiding the Seminoles to a national championship in 2013, compiling an 83–23 overall record, and claiming three ACC titles.
He then moved to Texas A&M, where he went 45–25 over six seasons before being dismissed in November 2023 and receiving a record-breaking buyout, reportedly around $77.5 million.
After departing College Station, Fisher spent the 2024 season co‐hosting SiriusXM’s “Off Campus” alongside E.J. Manuel and Jacob Hester. Transitioning into television gives him a new platform to leverage his extensive coaching pedigree and insider insight on ACC play.
Fisher’s experience leading Florida State and navigating SEC competition with Texas A&M offers fans a deep strategic lens. With ACC Huddle preparing weekly visits to stadiums across the conference, viewers can expect timely breakdowns from someone who’s been on both sides of the sidelines. The debut date for Fisher’s on-air role hasn’t been announced yet, but spring previews and fall kickoff weeks will surely feature his first contributions.
