Michelle Manziel, mother to the former NFL quarterback Johnny, was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Saturday night in Kerrville, Texas.
According to TMZ Sports, Manziel was held on $7,500 bail, which has been paid. She has been released from custody.
Manziel, a real estate executive according to her social media profile, has remained in Kerrville, the same town where son Johnny attended Tivy High School before his collegiate career with the Texas A&M Aggies from 2011 to 2013.
The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner has had his own trials and tribulations. Before his first college game, he was arrested in 2012 and charged with three misdemeanors.

In 2015, Manziel entered a treatment program for unspecified reasons and had several incidents with the Cleveland Browns that led to the franchise being "so done with Manziel," according to a report from Peter King.
In 2016, Manziel was dropped by his marketing agency, LRMR, and soon after, his then-agent, Erik Burkhardt, dropped him.
In a Netflix documentary, Untold: Johnny Football, Manziel owned up to frequent OxyContin and cocaine use, citing multiple refusals to enter rehab after being released by the Browns.
In the years since the end of his football career, the 32-year-old has attempted to rehabilitate his life and has a podcast titled "Glory Daze."
TMZ reached out to Michelle about her DWI arrest but has not received a comment.
