Lance Leipold and the Kansas Jayhawks have been absolutely dominating the Class of 2026, and that trend continued on Saturday.

The group secured a commitment from a new player in the class, with the addition of four-star running back Kory Amachree.

Coming out of Haslet High School in the Class of 2026, Amachree is listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 350th-ranked player. He also checked in as the 24th-ranked player at his position and the sixth-ranked player in the state of Michigan.

An impressive player in his class, Amachree chose the Jayhawks over offers from 35 different programs, including Wisconsin, West Virginia, Minnesota, Michigan State, Illinois, Cincinnati, Arizona State, Indiana, and more.

With his commitment, Amachree became the Jayhawks’ 16th addition in the Class of 2026, a group that currently checks in as the nation’s eighth-ranked unit and the Big 12’s best group.
