Why Wagner Will Win

Most of the main skill parts have to be replaced, but the receiving corps is good, and the deep shots have to come from the start.

The Seahawks don't have much of a prayer on the ground if the Kansas run defense is as hyped as it was against Fresno State, but try opening things up a bit. Quarterback EJ Warner and the Bulldogs kept things short-to-midrange; Wagner has to take more chances.

Why Kansas Will Win

Razor sharp.

Kansas couldn't have asked for anything more out of the first performance of the season. 

Jalon Daniels hit 18-of-20 passes, the run defense allowed just 37 yards, and the team was +3 in the turnover margin.

This might not be the same sort of game with the same focused effort, but if the Jayhawks bring 75% of their production on the lines, and are just a wee bit better on third downs - that was the one blip, converting just 20% of their chances ...

This should be over after the first drive or two.

Kansas doesn't appear to be taking anything for granted, at least it's not when it comes to its preparation and mindset going into the season. The Fresno State performance showed just how air-tight the team appears to be right out of the gate.

Wagner will come up with a score at some point, but it won't do nearly enough to stay in the game.
