Who said it's not possible to have some fun while serving the greater good? The Ohio State Buckeyes have been pleased with the transfer portal addition of Seth McLaughlin after the center joined the program from Alabama this past offseason.
Now, McLaughlin is looking to give back to the community in a hilarious way. On Friday, McLaughlin announced he's donating 100% of the proceeds earned from a custom-made hat that says "Run the Damn Ball" on it.
Take a look at the hat below, and buy it here.

Here's what the center wrote on his Shopify page in support of his product launch.
I'm Seth McLaughlin, center for The Ohio State University. This fall, I’m proud to introduce a special initiative that combines the energy of our game with the spirit of giving. I’m selling hats that say “Run the Damn Ball,” a phrase you’ll hear echoing across the stadium as fans cheer us on. But these hats are more than just a rallying cry for the team.
100% of the proceeds from these hats are going directly to charity. When you hear someone yelling "RTDB" I hope it reminds you of more than just running the football. I want it to encourage you to “Run to the Donation Box” this holiday season! Every contribution helps create a positive impact, supporting those in need in the local Columbus, Ohio community. Together, let’s channel our passion for the game into something truly meaningful. Whether you’re on the field or cheering from the stands, let’s all be part of the drive to give back.
Last season, in the first year of this initiative, I was able to raise $1,200 for the West Alabama Food Bank. This year, with even more support and enthusiasm behind us, I’m confident we can surpass that amount significantly. With your help, I believe we’ll make an even greater impact in providing essential resources to those who need it most.
