Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have been on a roll with getting top players from the class of 2026 to flip their decision recently.
This time, it's four-star linebacker Shadarius Toodle, who flipped his decision from the Auburn Tigers to the Bulldogs on Sunday, according to On3's Hayes Fawcett.
"BREAKING: Four-Star LB Shadarius Toodle has Flipped from Auburn to Georgia, he tells me for @on3recruits. The 6’3 235 LB from Mobile, AL had been committed to the Tigers since July 2024," Fawcett wrote on X/Twitter.

His reasoning? Toodle wants to be the best so it only makes sense to play for the best.

Toodle, 6-foot-3 and 235 pounds is considered a four-star prospect across all major recruiting services. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, he’s ranked as the No. 8 linebacker in the nation, the No. 9 overall player in Alabama, and the No. 138 player nationally in the 2026 class.
This past season at Cottage Hill Christian Academy in Mobile, AL, Toodle put up dominant numbers on both sides of the ball. He led the team with 157 total tackles, including 13 tackles for loss, two sacks, and one interception. Offensively, he added 494 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns, proving to be a true two-way threat.
Perhaps most impressive was his consistency on defense where Toodle recorded three separate games with 20 tackles.
Toodle marks Georgia’s first linebacker commit in the 2026 class, giving the Dawgs some early momentum at the position. They’re also still out front in the race for five-star linebacker Tyler Atkinson.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 5 recruiting class and has 19 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
