Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have been on a recruiting hot streak, but unfortunately, they can't win them all.
According to On3's Hayes Fawcett, five-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan is staying home, committing to the Alabama Crimson Tide over Georgia.
"BREAKING: Five-Star WR Cederian Morgan has Committed to Alabama, he tells me for @rivals. The No. 2 WR in the ‘26 Class chose the Crimson Tide over Florida, Georgia, & Colorado," Fawcett wrote on X/Twitter.

Morgan, a 6-foot-4 and 210-pound standout wide receiver for Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama, delivered an exceptional junior year performance. He hauled in 70 receptions for 1,162 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 16.6 yards per catch and 105.6 receiving yards per game last fall.
"Bama made, Bama raised, Bama stayed!!!! RTR," Morgan said shortly after announcing his decision.
Morgan is rated as the No. 14 overall prospect nationally, the No. 2 wide receiver, and the No. 1 player in Alabama, per On3.
While missing out on Morgan is a bummer for the Dawgs, they did recently land four-star wide receiver Craig Dandridge to go with fellow four-star weapon Ryan Mosely and three-star Brady Marchese.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class and has 26 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
