While most are celebrating the 4th of July, eating hot dogs, and having a cold one, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are working hard in the recruiting department.
Smart set off fireworks early on Friday by landing one of the top tight ends from the class of 2026.
Tom Loy of 247Sports reports that four-star tight end Brayden Fogle has committed to the Bulldogs.

The 6-foot-3 and 230-pound tight end from Mansfield, Ohio committed to the Bulldogs over a strong list of other powerhouse programs that featured Auburn, LSU, Michigan, Penn State, Duke, and a handful of others.
Fogle becomes the latest addition to Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class, which sits at No. 2 in the nation. Meanwhile, Fogle is ranked as the No. 132 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 8 tight end, and the No. 6 player in the state of Ohio, per 247Sports.
He heads into his senior season coming off an impressive junior campaign, where he recorded 49 receptions for 584 yards and four touchdowns. Fogle also played a key role in guiding his team to the Region 10 semifinals.
He is the second tight end the Dawgs have landed so far, joining four-star prospect Lincoln Keyes.
Georgia currently boasts the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class and has 27 players committed to their recruiting class of 2026:
