KJ Henry, a former 5-star defensive end/edge rusher, is used to being at the front of the line, with teams around the country wanting him on their team. However, most draft sites currently have him projected to be around a 4th round selection in the upcoming NFL Draft. That's certainly respectable and would give Henry every opportunity to realize his dreams and have a long career but KJ would certainly like to improve that stock. A minor hamstring injury, suffered at the NFL Combine, shortened his audition in front of scouts.

KJ told reporters jokingly, "Yeah, yeah just [hurt it] running too fast." He went on to say that it was a Grade 1 injury to the right hamstring and that "It feels great, I can't feel [the injury] anymore but I just want to have full confidence in it for the 4th." Normally a minor hamstring wouldn't be a big cause for concern but during the biggest interview of your life, where you only get so many opportunities to impress scouts, it's obviously important to be performing at your best.

This is a process that can get the best of you if you let it but Henry knows to embrace this moment as "this is a dream come true and a blessing." He told reporters, "I'm just trying to be intentional in every moment... You only get this process one time and I want to make sure I maximize every part of it." He'll get the chance to do that one more time on April 4th when he hosts a workout at Clemson. If his words are any indication, KJ Henry will take full advantage of that moment.
