The NFL Draft invites a select amount of prospects to the event each year. When they do invite prospects to the event every year, the expectation is they will get drafted in the first round.
On Sunday, The Athletic's Dane Brugler reported that Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe accepted an invitation to the NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

This is an interesting one when it comes to the scope of the NFL Draft. The initial thought going into the season was that Milroe could play himself into being a top-frive selection, especially with Kalen DeBoer coming in as the head coach. That didn't manifest itself in the way they wanted it too, but there is still a lot to like with Milroe.
One of the reasons why Milroe is set to potentially go in the first round is the strength of this year's quarterback class. There isn't much of one at all outside of Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, both of whom likely struggle to go in round one last year, which had six players go in the top 12.
What Milore does have that the other quarterbacks in this don't is a pistol whip for an arm. Ther isn't anyone in recent memory with the pure arm strength plus elite rushing ability that Milroe has other than Anthony Richardson and Josh Allen. Even so, neither of them had the juice that Milroe does. He runs a 4.4 second 40-yard dash and that could end up vaulting him into another stratosphere.
Now, there is a reason why Milroe isn't a top-five pick right now. He doesn't know how to use his elite traits with consistency. That's a big issue with Milroe. It also was with Allen and Richardson. If a team could harness what he has, they could have a true difference maker on their hands. We know that New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll had a great had in elevating Josh Allen.
April's draft is getting more and more interesting.
