Some more transfer portal rumors to chew on.

—WR  Rara Thomas from Mississippi State will take an official visit to Georgia this upcoming weekend and is likely to commit. UGA didn’t use the portal last time around but has more needs this season with another amazing year and more and more players expected to head off to the NFL. Thomas had 44 catches for more than 600 yards this season with 7 scores and is a much-needed deep threat.

— It looks like it could come down to Illinois and Missouri for Devin Leary from NC State. The Illini have his younger brother, Donovan, as a QB on the roster, and a few of his ex-coaches while Eli Drinkwitz helped recruit Leary to NC State when he was there in 2018. I’ve heard Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame, and others but I’m told his injury situation has them targeting others. Leary has been injury prone at NC State.

Notre Dame seems all in on Texas transfer Hudson Card, with Brennan Armstrong as the backup option but this changes almost hourly. Card is also coveted by Georgia and Alabama I’m told as both are losing their starters. Tennessee has also been mentioned but they are in an OC search.

— LB Justin Flowe from Oregon was a surprise entry into the portal and Miami, USC and Clemson come to mind. Clemson is unlikely because Dabo Swinney doesn’t use the portal much, but Flowe loved the Tigers out of HS. Mario Cristobal recruited him at Oregon so the ‘Canes could be an option and he loved USC and how close it was to home and family back when he chose Oregon. Lincoln Riley could use some defensive help for sure.

— Arizona WR Dorian Singer was also a surprise of sorts and some have him linked to Kenny Dillingham and Arizona State, but as the PAC 12’s leading receiver he will receive a ton of major offers and I see him looking for something bigger. He’s from the Midwest, so Ohio State or Michigan could be of interest here as well.
