LOOK: Noah Sewell Inks Rookie Deal With Chicago Bears

Along with Sewell, the Bears signed cornerback Terrell Smith (round 5), safety Kendal Williamson (round 7) and and defensive tackle Travis Bell (round 7) as part of their 2023 draft class.

According to Over the Cap, Sewell's rookie deal is projected to be worth $4,164, 948, with a signing bonus of $324, 948.

Sewell spent three years with the Ducks after signing as a five-star recruit out of Orem (Ut.) High School. He led the Ducks in tackles in his true freshman and sophomore seasons and was the program's first player to ever be named a semifinalist for the Butkus Award in 2021, recognizing the best linebacker in college football.

He's the second Sewell brother to come through the Oregon program en route to the NFL, following in the footsteps of his older brother Penei, an offensive tackle who also landed in the NFC North when he was taken by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-1, 246-pound linebacker is the latest linebacker from Oregon to be drafted, joining outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux (New York Giants), along with Troy Dye (Minnesota Vikings) and DJ Johnson (Carolina Panthers).
