The Buckeye State is gearing up for the 2025 college football season and the opportunity for its Ohio State Buckeyes squad to repeat as national champions.

One farm, called The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek, is so excited for the title defense that it created a massive corn maze which features a picture of Ohio State head football coach Ryan Day. The maze is called A-MAiZE-ING DAY.

The farm confirmed to Athlon that the mention of MAiZE in the title is not a reference to the Michigan Wolverines. One of UM's school colors is maize, but it's just a coincidence that this farm also goes by the name The MAiZE.

Take a look at the awesome creation in the X post below, or on the farm's website.

On the farm's website, The MAiZE notes not only Ryan Day's accomplishments on the football field, but also the charitable work he and his wife, Nina, have contributed to the state and community.

"This year’s maze is not just a nod to Buckeye pride and an unforgettable championship season — it’s a tribute to the enduring leadership and generous spirit Coach Day brings both to Ohio State and our community," says the website.

Those who want to see the maze don't have to venture too far outside Columbus. The farm is in Union County, Ohio, and sits just a few miles south of Marysville, roughly 30 minutes from Columbus.

What a Difference a Year Made for Ryan Day

One year ago, Ryan Day was in the position Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin is now: favored to win the Big Ten with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

This time last fall, Ohio State was gearing up for a make-or-break year. Day had lost to Michigan three straight times while missing out on playing for the national championship each of those seasons as well. Similar results would not be accepted in 2024 with a roster that was arguably the stoutest in college football heading into the year.

OSU stumbled to a rather disappointing 10-2 regular season finish, including another loss to Michigan, but still made the expanded 12-team College Football Playoff field. From there, the Buckeyes just kicked down doors and took teams prisoner as they steamrolled to a national title.

That win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the CFP final last January completely altered the narrative for Day, who batted every monkey off his back (well, maybe except one...) by finally delivering the ultimate hardware to OSU.

Heading into 2025, the Michigan game looms enormously, but the Ohio State community is certainly not debating pushing Day out of town like it was last year. Instead, Buckeyes fans are building corn mazes in his honor.
