Look: Media photo of Quinn Ewers, Arch Manning offers wild contrast

An incredible photo of Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning went viral on Saturday.

Players and coaches from Texas were made available for the media ahead of Monday’s Sugar Bowl game against Washington. Manning is the team’s backup quarterback now that Maalik Murphy has transferred from the program. The national media hasn’t had many opportunities to speak to the quarterback from the famous football family, so they were falling all over themselves to talk with Manning on Saturday.

Take a look at this photo, which shows a mob surrounding Manning while starting quarterback Ewers sits alone at his table.

Perhaps the Longhorns media staff underestimated the draw of Arch Manning. There’s no jealousy between them, either. They’re apparently roommates when Texas travels for road games.

Texas will be facing Washington on Monday with a spot in the national championship game on the line. The teams met in the Alamo Bowl last year, with the Huskies winning 27-20. Washington is playing up the disrespect angle ahead of this season’s bowl game.
