On Tuesday, the LSU Tigers had a few players connected to the program make decisions about the 2025 season.
Four-star cornerback Kade Phillips flipped his commitment from LSU to Texas. Per On3 Sports, 2023 five-star Edge Da'Shawn Womack is set to hit the transfer portal.
The LSU Tigers will lose one of their best players before the 2025 season. Per a post on his Instagram page Tuesday, offensive tackle Will Campbell announced he was planning to enter the draft and will forgo his senior season with the Tigers.
Campbell thanked his teammates and head coach Brian Kelly. The six-foot-six, 320-pound athlete wrote that it was a childhood dream to play at LSU.
"There aren't enough words to describe the Impact LSU, the Baton Rouge community, and the state of Louisiana has had on my life," Campbell wrote. "Over the past three years, I was blessed to live out my childhood dream of being an LSU Tiger. I give all the glory to God for these opportunities."
Campbell was a three-year starter for the Tigers, playing and starting in 38 games. The 20-year-old from Monroe, Louisiana earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2022 and first-team All-SEC honors in 2023.
Per ESPN, Campbell is projected to be a first-round pick and is one of the top prospects at offensive tackle in the 2025 draft class.
