LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels is expected to be drafted in the top three picks of the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, which is less than a month away.
But before his name is called by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in Detroit, Michigan, expect speculation on Daniels to run amok. Recently, pictures of his elbow went viral after insider Ian Rapoport posted a picture in which it looked odd.
Sports medicine physician Jesse Morse explained on Twitter/X that Daniel's elbow could be a case of olecranon bursitis, which he explains as an "inflammation of the bursa, which is a sac that is usually empty and is there to protect the bone underneath" while clarifying that "these usually do not have a negative impacts on the player/person. This should not impact his ability to throw or cause any pain. Literally just a visual oddity."
On Friday, Daniels took it upon himself to clear the air with a message on social media by posting that his elbow had no issues at all.
my elbow is perfectly fine .. stop the cap!!

The reality is that Jayden has nothing to hide. If there were legitimate concerns about his throwing elbow, we likely would've heard by now from NFL teams or insiders that would be on top of this story if there was one in the first place.
Daniels is gaining a lot of steam as the projected No. 2 overall pick as many insist he might be the Washington Commanders' choice when they're on the clock in late April. But Drake Maye and J.J. McCarthy are expected to be in the conversation assuming Caleb Williams is already off the board one pick into the draft.
