The NFL Draft is less than two months away, and the Scouting Combine is ongoing. That means we are in prime time for rumors about draft prospects. Many of the rumors tend to be of the negative variety sometimes, as teams are hoping to create smokescreens so a player drops to them. But in this case, we actually have some positive rumors.
Malik Willis, a former Auburn quarterback who spent the last two seasons at Liberty, has been praised for what he is showing teams at the combine. Pro Football Focus tweeted that Willis has impressed with his “overall offensive knowledge.”

The Athletic’s Jeff Howe added that Willis has been blowing teams away with his interviews.
Malik Willis has been blowing teams away with his interviews at the combine, too. It's a continuation of his impressive Senior Bowl week. Of the teams I've spoken to, the overwhelming majority believe he's got the highest ceiling of the QBs in this draft class.

The 2022 quarterback draft class is viewed as being weak overall. Willis, Kenny Pickett, Sam Howell, Desmond Ridder and Matt Corral are regarded as some of the top prospects at the position. Willis is in contention to be the first quarterback selected, and his stock seems to be rising.
