Ex-NFL running back Mark Ingram II hasn’t carried the ball in more than three years, but that didn’t stop him from delivering a truck stick earlier this week.
Ingram took it upon himself to run over Diego Pavia after the Vanderbilt QB finished second in Saturday’s Heisman voting, then pouted both on social media and at a New York City club.
Pavia’s consistent message after the Heisman ceremony was "[EXPLETIVE] ALL THE (Heisman) VOTERS …" and "[Expletive] Indiana."
Some would say he was acting like a sore loser. Others would drop the "sore" part and just associate Pavia with being a loser. Which, in this case, is true both literally and figuratively.
It’s a label that’s followed him since finding the spotlight as Vandy’s starting quarterback ahead of the 2024 campaign. Since then, he’s essentially been Johnny Manziel lite both on and off the field.
Ingram, who won the Heisman in 2009 while at Alabama, quickly responded to Pavia’s immaturity.
"[Expletive] all the voters is crazy when 186 … 189 people (voted) you first on the ballot," Ingram said earlier this week on "The Triple Option," a podcast he co-hosts alongside Urban Meyer and Rob Stone. "So maybe you should’ve said [Expletive] 643 voters (the number of voters who didn't Pavia first)."
Stone then chimed in, saying, "And I was one of them." Ingram followed, "I was one of them too!"

Urban Meyer then jokingly suggested Pavia "F’d" both Ingram and Stone, clearing the way for Ingram to plow through Pavia.
"He F’d me and that’s fine. That’s fine," Ingram insisted. "Cause guess what? My trophy’s sitting right there (as the camera panned to Ingram’s own Heisman Trophy behind him). I don’t give a damn who you F."
Another loss for Pavia.
