Max Duggan and Andy Dalton Make the College Football Top 75 Quarterbacks List of the 2000s
USA TODAY Sports

A couple of years ago, ESPN staff writer Bill Connelly made a ranking of the 60 best CFB QBs of the 2000s, and now he updated it with a top 75 ranking. TCU's Max Duggan and Andy Dalton each cracked the list, with Dalton coming in at 64 and Duggan at 62.

Dalton, in his time at TCU from 2007-2010, threw for 10,314 passing yards with a 62% completion rate, 71 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions. Connelly wrote, "Both Dalton and the Horned Frogs improved incrementally throughout his career, going 11-2, then 12-1, then 13-0, with the program's lone Rose Bowl win, in his last three seasons.

Duggan, from 2019-2022, threw for 9,618 yards with a 60% completion rate, 73 touchdowns, 28 interceptions, and 28 rushing TDs. Connelly said about Duggan, "He almost didn't even end up starting as a senior, but he made the most of his last chance, throwing for 3,698 yards, finishing second in the Heisman voting, and leading TCU to the national title game."
