The Michigan Wolverines offensive line had an uneven 2024-25 season one year removed from a national championship season in Ann Arbor, but recovered late in the season to become a strength of the team.

Offensive linemen including Giovanni El-Hadi, Evan Link, Greg Crippen and others began to put it all together as the team reeled off three consecutive wins to close out the season.

Without a functional passing game for much of the season, the Wolverines' run blocking especially stood out during what was a heroic late series of late season performances, carrying momentum into the 2025-26 season.

On Saturday, Michigan offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey was among those who spoke, setting an ambitious goal for the 2025-26 offensive line unit.

Michigan coach Sherrone Moore singled out El-Hadi, a projected starter at guard, as the team's best offensive lineman during spring ball, but the Wolverines boast several talented players and plenty of depth which could lead to potential breakout players like tackle Blake Frazier and/or guard Nathan Efobi emerging this fall.

Transfer tackle Brady Norton and transfer guard Lawrence Hattar also are expected to push for playing time in what should be a position to watch leading up to Michigan's August 30 home opener against New Mexico.
