The Michigan football roster is mostly complete, but coming out of spring ball, the Wolverines are looking to supplement a few spots.
One area Michigan football is looking to add experience is the secondary. The Wolverines have been connected with multiple defensive backs and three will visit within the next week: Jaden Mangham from Michigan State, Terrance Brooks of Texas, and Wesley Walker of Tennessee.
It was reported on Friday that Brooks will visit Michigan football next week. Illinois is also in the hunt along with UTSA. However, another big name has entered the fray and it’s USC which will also get Brooks on campus for a visit according to Matt Zenitz of 247 Sports.
The expectation is that ex-Texas cornerback Terrance Brooks is going to visit USC next weekend coming out of his visit to Michigan, sources tell @247Sports.

The Trojans need to upgrade a defense that’s been flat-out bad — in the Pac-12. Brooks would certainly help but if development is what he’s seeking and being part of an elite defense, Michigan is the clear choice.
Brooks was an honorable mention All-Big 12 last season. He had three interceptions and feels like a perfect fit to have opposite Will Johnson. We’ll see if that ends up happening but you always worry about NIL money being the deciding factor in the portal and the Trojans aren’t shy about paying.
Michigan football is also in the mix for Tennessee starting safety Wesley Walker. The Wolverines hosted him for a visit this week.
Walker left without committing though and his next stop is LSU according to Zenitz. Brian Kelly might say LSU isn’t paying for talent but the recruitment of Bryce Underwood would suggest otherwise and that’s not the only one.
Former Louisville and Tennessee defensive back Wesley Walker is set to visit LSU next week, sources tell @247Sports.

With Rod Moore out for the season, Michigan currently has Makari Paige, Quentin Johnson, Zeke Berry, and Brandyn Hillman set to compete for time.
Walker would be a valuable addition and after losing DJ Waller and Keon Sabb to the portal, plus Moore to injury — it would make sense to add Brooks and Mangham or Walker, if possible, which on top of Quentin Johnson returning, essentially gives you a theoretical replacement for each departure.
