Michigan has had some big success at the Edge position in recent years. Just to name a few in the past few years, the Wolverines have had: Mike Morris, David Ojabo, Aidan Hutchinson, Kwity Paye, Josh Uche, and Chase Winovich all coming off the edge and putting fear in the opposing quarterback.

The Wolverines currently have five Edge rushers committed to them in the 2024 cycle, but it's not stopping Michigan from reaching out to more.

On Sunday, it was announced Michigan made the top group for 2025 five-star Edge rusher, Zion Grady.

Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Louisville, Georgia, Tennessee, Oregon, Texas, and USC round out his top 10. The Wolverines are the only -- current -- Big Ten school on the list.

The five-star recruit hails from Troy (Alabama) Charles Henderson. Grady stands at 6-foot-4, 220-pounds. He is the 16th-ranked recruit and the No. 1 Edge prospect in the class of '25, according to the Composite.

In 2022, Grady was the Alabama Class 5A Lineman of the Year. During his sophomore season he totaled 108 tackles, 22 sacks, three FF, and two FR.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Auburn has the lead with a 38.3% chance to land Grady.
