College football fans have been waiting anxiously for more details on the new EA Sports College Football 25 and on Friday, we got some or at least a tease of the cover which features Michigan football player Donovan Edwards front and center.

You figured after Michigan football won the national championship last season that some Wolverines would be featured on the cover of College Football 25.

Some even speculated if there would be an individual player on the front as there used to be. However, EA Sports has gone a different route according to a post on X from Hayes Fawcett of On3.com.

Michigan football star on the cover of ‘College Football 25’

The cover features Edwards, Quinn Ewers, and Travis Hunter from Colorado. You can also see Jalen Milroe and Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins.

It’s sort of funny that the only Ohio State player to make the cover was acquired via the transfer portal. Yet, it’s awesome to see Edwards on the front. He didn’t have the biggest statistical season in 2023 but he was behind Blake Corum.

Edwards also delivered in some of Michigan’s biggest moments. He had a touchdown run against Penn State on the road in a top-10 matchup. Of course, he also had the two long touchdown runs against Washington which will certainly remind fans of the two long touchdown runs in the 2022 win over Ohio State.

Edwards is due for a breakout season. He’s going to have a monster campaign and will easily live up to the hype of being on the cover of EA Sports College Fooball 25.
