Jadyn Davis is unquestionably the standout commit in the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class, which is ranked No. 2 nationally, just behind the Georgia Bulldogs. Davis, a five-star composite quarterback commit, has garnered significant attention in recruiting discussions within Ann Arbor.
When JJ McCarthy eventually departs from the program, Davis, also a fellow five-star prospect, will be poised to take over as the starting quarterback in 2024.
This week, it was announced that Jadyn Davis has advanced to the finals of the Elite 11 competition in LA. Davis joins a group of highly ranked quarterbacks, including a few former targets of Michigan football, such as CJ Carr, who is the grandson of Lloyd Carr and currently committed to Notre Dame.
According to the 247 Sports composite rankings, Jadyn Davis is a five-star quarterback, positioned as the No. 26 overall recruit in the nation, the No. 4 quarterback recruit in his class, and the No. 1 recruit in the state of North Carolina. Davis moving on to the Elite 11 finals once again showcases that the future of Michigan football is on good — and talented — hands.
