Michigan Signee, Ronnie Bell's Little Brother, Kendrick, Can Fly

When Michigan inked Ronnie Bell back in 2018, Wolverines fans weren't overly excited. Bell was just a 6-1, 170-pound, two-star recruit who was actually committed to a small school in Missouri to play basketball. Once in Ann Arbor, Bell started making plays almost immediately and is now leaving as a captain, fan favorite and damn good wide receiver prospect.

Fast forward to the 2023 class, and we're seeing a similar beginning with Bell's younger brother, Kendrick. The 6-3, 180-pounder is listed as a three-star athlete who played quarterback in high school. Because of his overall athleticism, length and frame, Kendrick could end up playing a few different positions at U-M, and if he's anything like his older brother, he's going to exceed expectations. One thing is for sure — wherever he plays, he's going to be one of the best athletes in the room at that position.

As you can see in the video clip above, Kendrick is putting his head up by the rim at 6-3. With some added strength and another year to grow, he could end up being north of 6-4 and 200 pounds either punishing opposing defenses as a dual-threat quarterback or snagging jump balls off defensive backs' heads as a wide receiver like big bro.

If it were up to Ronnie, Kendrick would stay at quarterback. Jim Harbaugh is likely going to give Kendrick a chance to shine at the position, but the skillset might make it impossible to keep him under center. Wherever he ends up, Ronnie knows that his brother is going to take the opportunity and run with it and it's pretty damn cool hearing No. 8 talk about his incoming freshman sibling.
