Michigan Triumph Ends in Brawl vs Ohio State

A stunning victory was quickly overshadowed by chaos. Moments after Michigan secured their fourth consecutive win against Ohio State with a dramatic 13-10 finish, what should have been a celebratory moment turned into a contentious melee at midfield.

The altercation began when Michigan players attempted to plant a flag in the center of Ohio Stadium, sparking immediate backlash from Ohio State players. The scene escalated when Jack Sawyer, Ohio State's defensive end, snatched the flag from the Wolverines, leading to a second wave of clashes between the teams. Amid the tumult, law enforcement intervened with pepper spray, a desperate measure to quell the tensions that ensnared not only players but also a photographer caught in the crossfire.

"For such a great game, you hate to see stuff like that after the game. It’s just bad for the game," Michigan running back Kalel Mullings commented to FOX.

Per ESPN, the OSU Police said in a statement, "Officers from multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in breaking up an on-field altercation. During the scuffle, multiple officers representing Ohio and Michigan deployed pepper spray." Ohio State police have said they will continue to investigate the incident.
