Michigan is looking to bounce back after suffering a tough 20-19 loss to Iowa. The Wolverines lost after Iowa threw a game-winning touchdown pass with no time left. Two Wolverine wide receivers, Andrew Marsh and JJ Buchanan, registered 100 receiving yards in the loss.

“Yeah, it was a tough locker room, but I told them, hey, first of all, it’s a shame that we let them get away from us because we had it,” Michigan head coach Kyle Whittingham said, per Clayton Sayfie of The Wolverine. “Sometimes in life you get knocked down, things seem tough and, and like, how you can overcome that? But that’s life. You’ve got to get back up, pick yourself back up, and you’ve got to go right back to work on the next opponent. That’s what this profession is.”

Whittingham added, “You’ve just got to keep going forward and learn from your mistakes. We can watch the film obviously and critique things. I thought our offense was the best they’ve been all year.” The loss put Michigan out of the AP poll.

Minnesota have won the last two games after losing to Mississippi State in Week 2. On Saturday, the Golden Gophers defeated Washington 27-24 to win their third game of the year. Quarterback Drake Lindsey completed 21-of-29 passes for 204 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception.
