Michigan WR Ronnie Bell declares for 2023 NFL Draft

It was a productive season for Michigan senior wide receiver Ronnie Bell. So productive, in fact, that the two-time All-Big Ten honoree has declared his intentions to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.

"I want to start by thanking God for blessing me with the ability and the chance to play this game on one of the biggest stages in college football, giving me the opportunity of a lifetime to inspire and live out my dreams," Bell wrote in a statement he put on Twitter. "The University of Michigan is the greatest University in the whole world and will always hold a special place in my heart."

Bell may not have made a huge splash nationally like Houston's Nathaniel Dell (1,398 yards, 17 touchdowns), Tennessee's Jalin Hyatt (1,267 yards, 15 touchdowns) or Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr.  (1,263 yards, 14 touchdowns), but he was a big part of a Michigan offense that scored 40.4 points this season — the sixth-best mark nationally.

The former three-star recruit caught 62 passes for 889 yards and four touchdowns for the Wolverines this season, and he'll leave Ann Arbor with 2,269 career receiving yards and nine touchdown catches.

According to a Mel Kiper's latest wide receiver big board, Bell is not among the top 10 wide receivers expected to be in this upcoming NFL Draft.
