Mississippi State Football Drops Hype Video for 100-Day Countdown

Mississippi State football dropped a hype video on social media Thursday, celebrating the 100-day countdown to the 2025 season opener at Southern Miss on August 30.

The video kicks off with a tweet from ESPN’s Peter Burns praising Starkville’s unmatched Southern hospitality, perfectly synced with the hook of Nicki Minaj’s “Spaceships.” The tone then shifts into overdrive with Daft Punk’s “One More Time,” matching the Bulldogs’ renewed energy going into next season.

The b-roll footage captures a blend of fan excitement with a surprise appearance from former MSU star and current Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott. His brief cameo adds a dose of NFL star power to the cinematic piece. It also reinforces the program's legacy and future ambitions.

Coming off a dismal 2-10 season that included a winless run in SEC play, Mississippi State is looking to flip the script. Head coach Jeff Lebby has promoted better player development on and off the field.

From all indications, the Bulldogs are embracing a fresh start with a new attitude. This could be the beginning of a true turnaround in Starkville.
