The No. 21 Missouri Tigers finished its 2024 college football regular season with a 28-21 win over SEC rival Arkansas Razorbacks at Memorial Stadium in Columbia, Missouri.
Both offenses were pretty even throughout the day, with Arkansas having the slight edge in total yards, 377-361. Still, the Razorbacks' two fumbles proved to be costly, allowing Missouri to score 14 points off their turnovers.
The Tigers' running game also helped seal their ninth win of the year. Running back Marcus Carroll and quarterback Brady Cook combined for 153 yards and three scores on the ground.

Although no punches were thrown or physical altercations occurred, unlike the other two games mentioned, both teams gathered at midfield and exchanged words
Explicit comments were thrown toward one another as coaches from both sides attempted to de-escalate the situation. They certainly did a much better job than the staff from other contests throughout Saturday's slate of Rivalry Week. Missouri players also left their taunts by waving goodbye to Arkansas.

After starting its season 4-0, Missouri (9-3, 5-3 in SEC play) dropped three of its next six games but finished the season strong with two straight wins. Although they will likely not be playing in the College Football Playoff, the Tigers should make a strong bowl game, their fifth consecutive season doing so (including the canceled Music City Bowl in 2020.)
Meanwhile, Arkansas (6-6, 3-5 in SEC play) finished the year losing three of its final four contests, all to ranked opponents. Its best win came against No. 4 Tennessee, defeating the Volunteers 19-14. After missing out on postseason play in 2023, the Razorbacks will make their return to a bowl game.
