CLEMSON, SC – Get ready, college football world, because Clemson is coming for it all! Athlon Sports has just unleashed its highly anticipated preseason All-American and All-ACC selections, and the verdict is clear: Dabo Swinney’s Tigers are absolutely LOADED, leading the entire nation with a staggering EIGHT All-American picks!

This isn't just about a few standout stars; it's a deep roster brimming with elite talent on both sides of the ball, fueling rampant College Football Playoff aspirations.

Leading the charge for Clemson's All-American contingent are two undisputed defensive behemoths, both named to the First Team:

  • T.J. Parker (DE): A disruptive force off the edge.
  • Peter Woods (DL): A dominant presence on the interior line.

The talent doesn't stop there. On the Second Team, the Tigers showcase their offensive firepower with a pair of players widely projected as future NFL first-rounders:

  • Cade Klubnik (QB): The electrifying signal-caller ready to ignite the offense.
  • Antonio Williams (WR): A dynamic playmaker poised for a massive season.

Clemson’s depth continues onto the Third Team, with more offensive and defensive stalwarts earning national recognition:

  • Bryant Wesco (WR): The sophomore wideout poised for a breakout year.
  • Blake Miller (RT): The veteran anchor of the offensive line.
  • Avieon Terrell (CB): A shutdown corner leading the secondary.

Rounding out the national representation on the Fourth Team is defensive stalwart Wade Woodaz (LB), showcasing the versatility and depth of this Tigers defense.

What's more, all eight of these All-Americans were also named to Athlon's All-ACC First Team, proving their dominance within the conference. And the Clemson talent extends even further within the All-ACC ranks, with Sammy Brown (LB) and Khalil Barnes (DB) making the Second Team defense, alongside kicker Nolan Hauser. True freshman running back Gideon Davidson and veteran offensive guard Walker Parks highlight the Third Team, with transfer DE Will Heldt and DT DeMonte Capehart fortifying the defensive line. Wide receiver T.J. Moore wraps up the selections on the Fourth Team offense.

With eight All-American selections, Clemson has edged out other perennial powerhouses like Alabama (seven), Texas (seven), Penn State (seven), and Georgia (six) – a clear statement of intent for the upcoming season. The pieces are in place; is this the year Dabo Swinney leads his most stacked team yet back to the pinnacle of college football?
