The Ohio State Buckeyes have scored big on the recruiting trail at wide receiver. The Buckeyes haven't just landed talent at the position. They've also successfully recruited size.
A Buckeyes fan posted a picture of five-star wide receiver Chris Henry next to Ohio State star wideout Jeremiah Smith on Sunday. Henry appeared to be significantly taller than Smith.
"Chris Henry Jr. is that much taller than Jeremiah Smith???" The Ohio State fan wrote with two shocked emojis.
247Sports lists Henry at 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds. The official Ohio State football roster has Smith at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds.
Another Buckeyes fan had a similar reaction to another photo of Henry next to transfer portal tight end Max Klare.
"Chris Henry Jr next to 6.4 240lb Max Klare," the fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
"Chris has to be pushing 6.7. He's gonna be a problem."

Other fans responded saying Henry likely appears a lot taller than Klare because of the angle of the camera.
But Klare is listed at 6-foot-4. That means Henry is already taller than the former Purdue tight end as well.

With his massive frame, Henry earned the No. 2 wide receiver ranking on the 247Sports composite rankings for the 2026 recruiting class. Henry is also the No. 1 California prospect and No. 11 overall recruit in the class based on the same rankings.
Henry is the top recruit verbally committed to the Buckeyes in 2026. The program has also scored commitments from fellow four-star wideouts Kayden Dixon-Wyatt and Jaeden Ricketts along with three-star receiver Brock Boyd.
Henry and Dixon-Wyatt are high school teammates at Mater Dei in Santa, Ana, Calif.
